Yeşim Tokis and Ayşenur Kumral, students of Landscape Architecture at the Faculty of Art and Design at Artvin Çoruh University, came first and second respectively in the Original Video Competition on the theme of ‘Atatürk's Love of Nature, the Environment and Trees’, organised this year for the 17th time by the Atatürkist Thought Association. The works of the students participating in the competition were evaluated by a jury consisting of Prof. Dr. Hilal Surat, Dr. Lecturer Elif Sabancı Polat, Fatih Asılyazıcı and Emine Hekimoğlu. The students who won the competition will travel to Ankara on 8 November with three board members and participate in the Anıtkabir ceremonies as part of a two-day programme. The visit programme will also include visits to important sites such as the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, the Pink Mansion, Middle East Technical University, and Ankara Castle. We congratulate our students who achieved top rankings in the competition.
